Apprenticeships in Licensed Occupations Act of 2024 [SB-1185]
Requiring professional and occupational regulatory boards to issue licenses, certifications, and registrations to individuals who complete an apprenticeship program that is established under certain provisions of the Act, pass a certain examination, and pay a certain fee; authorizing the Maryland Department of Labor to develop a standard apprenticeship program for a licensed occupation or profession; and establishing a workgroup to establish group-sponsored apprenticeships in certain professions.
