Allows the sale of food products made from any fruit, grain, herbs, honey, meat, milk, mushrooms, nuts, poultry, seafood, or vegetables by a farm employing 10 or fewer people or by a private home, so long as (i) the sale is made directly to consumers and (ii) the product is labeled with the producer's name and address, the product's ingredients, and a disclosure statement indicating that the product is not subject to Virginia's food safety laws or regulations.

Elephants; pain-inflicting training tools prohibited; penalty. Adds elephants to the definition of "dangerous captive animal." The bill also prohibits (i) the use of a bullhook, ankus, baseball bat, axe handle, pitchfork, or similar instrument or a tool designed to inflict pain for the purpose of training or controlling the behavior of an elephant and (ii) poking an elephant with such an instrument or tool for the purpose of training or controlling the behavior of the elephant. A violation is a Class 2 misdemeanor.
