AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 40, relative to sentencing. [HB-114] [Crime ] [Criminal Justice ] [Public Safety ]
As enacted, allows a court to sentence a defendant convicted of two or more criminal offenses to consecutive sentences if the defendant is sentenced for criminal offenses involving more than one victim and the court finds that a separate consecutive sentence for each offense is in the interest of justice. - Amends TCA Title 40.
