As enacted, removes the requirement that the credentials held by a person to practice as a central service technician must have been administered by the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution, Inc.; allows an individual the option to obtain a certified sterile processing and distribution technician credential instead of a certified registered central service technician credential. - Amends TCA Section 68-11-239.

The purpose of this bill is to allow licensed pharmacists to distribute the drug ivermectin by means of a standing order. The bill makes definitions, provides a framework for the distribute, clarifies the role of the Board of Medicine, and provides for an effective date.

Provides that an authorization for the release of health records shall remain in effect until (i) the authorization is revoked in writing and delivered to the health care entity maintaining the health record subject to the authorization, (ii) any expiration date set forth in the authorization, or (iii) the health care entity maintaining the health record becomes aware of any expiration event described in the authorization, whichever occurs first, and that a revocation shall not be effective
