The purpose of this bill is to direct the Department of Health and Human Resources and the state Board of Pharmacy to implement a pilot program through which unused prescription drugs, other than opiates, can be transferred from nursing home facilities to pharmacies owned by local health departments or county pharmacies for the purpose of distributing medication to indigent people. The purpose of this bill is to establish the Oral Health Pilot Program in the Mid-Ohio Valley Region. The bill makes legislative findings and creates the pilot program for two years. Emergency Credentialing for Health Care Providers Act [HB-2383]

The purpose of this bill is to establish the "Emergency Credentialing for Health Care Providers Act" which requires the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Resources to establish a registry of emergency health care providers. It authorizes the secretary to designate all or a part of a health care facility or other location as an emergency health care center; authorizes the secretary to direct health care providers during emergencies; and requires emergency health care providers to comply with an emergency plan and credentialing plan.
