The purpose of this bill is to amend statutes pertaining to the Higher Education Policy Commission to (a) eliminate the Higher Education Policy Commission; (b) create the Office of Postsecondary Education; and (c) provide for the transfer of certain administrative and service functions heretofore performed by the Higher Education Policy Commission to the Office of Postsecondary Education.
