Relating To The Employees' Retirement System. [HB-1644]
For members of the Employees' Retirement System hired after June 30, 2012, includes overtime in the definition of compensation when an employee has been directed by their supervisor or an appropriate authority to work more than their normal hours of service to perform specific duties and tasks to serve the immediate well-being of the public due to a natural disaster under an active emergency proclamation. Specifies that overtime worked prior to July 1, 2024, shall not be included in pension calculations. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD1)

Relating To Transportation. [HB-1578]
Permits a shipping container chassis that holds a valid out-of-state certificate of vehicle registration to obtain a certificate of safety inspection. Makes an out-of-state registration for a shipping container chassis valid in the State until its expiration in the other state or for one year after a vehicle safety inspection. (SD1)

Establishes a definition of "low alcohol by volume spirits beverage". Establishes a tax on low alcohol by volume sprits beverages at a rate of $1.98 per wine gallon. Expands the definition of "beer" under the State's liquor tax and liquor regulatory laws, to specify that the term includes an alcohol by volume of no less than 0.5 per cent, but excludes certain other forms of distillation. Relating To Special Management Areas. [SB-74]
Establishes additional exclusions from the definition of "development" as it applies to special management areas to reduce the need for special management area permits for certain activities. Repeals the 7,500 square foot threshold for single-family residence and authorizes the counties to further define single-family residence by ordinance for purposes of "development". Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)
