Relating To Emergency Management. [SB-2729]
Amends the definition of "emergency" for emergency management purposes to mean an acute occurrence, or imminent threat thereof, which results or may likely result in substantial injury or harm to the population or substantial damage to or loss of property or substantial damage to or loss of the environment, and the occurrence cannot be handled by laws adopted by the Legislature and signed by the Governor due to the time constraints.
