Create a new section of KRS 311.530 to 311.620 to make non-compete provisions in advance practice nurse practitioner, physician, and osteopath employment contracts void and unenforceable, except in limited circumstances when the contract is for the sale of a practice or for employment as a faculty member at a medical school.

Homeowner's Insurance - Weather-Related Claims and Notice of Cancellation or Nonrenewal [SB-345]
Repealing a certain exception that allowed an insurer to cancel or refuse to renew coverage for homeowner's insurance based on weather-related claims if there were three or more weather-related claims within the preceding 3-year period; and requiring that a certain written notice of intention to cancel or not renew a homeowner's insurance policy include a form adopted by the Maryland Insurance Commissioner that allows the insured to protest the proposed action and request a hearing 30 days after the mailing date of the notice.
