Relating to the calculation of child support obligations [HB-4453]
The purpose of this bill is to: (1) Exempt Supplemental Security Income (SSI) from being considered income for purposes of child support awards pursuant to the child support guidelines; and (2) Make provisions relating to the review and adjustment of child support orders consistent with each other.

West Virginia Child Welfare Act [HB-4446]
The purpose of this bill is to revise, rearrange, consolidating and recodify the laws of the State of West Virginia relating to child welfare. Chapter 49 of the Code of West Virginia has been completely rewritten; therefore, it has been completely underscored. This bill was recommended for introduction and passage during the Regular Session of the Legislature by the Legislative Oversight Commission on Health and Human Resources Accountability.

Relating to the Division of Juvenile Services [HB-4437]
The purpose of this bill is to allow the Division of Juvenile Services to maintain trustee bank accounts, earnings and property for its residents in the same manner as accounts are handled by the Division of Corrections; and to create a resident benefit fund for the benefit and welfare of the residents domiciled in any state juvenile facility and for the benefit of the victims.

Relating to the possession and distribution of child pornography [HB-4006]
