Northern Border Regional Commission Reauthorization Act of 2017 This bill provides that the share of the administrative expenses of the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission, the Southwest Border Regional Commission, or the Northern Border Regional Commission to be paid by each state of such commission shall be determined by a majority (currently, unanimous) vote of the state members of such commission. STEM to STEAM Act of 2017 [HB-3344]
STEM to STEAM Act of 2017 This bill amends the STEM Education Act of 2015 to include: (1) among the purposes for which the National Science Foundation shall award competitive, merit-reviewed grants the support of the integration of art and design in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) educational programs; and (2) among activities supported by such grants the design and testing of programming that integrates art and design in STEM education in order to promote creativity and innovation.

Interstate Teaching Mobility Act This bill amends the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to establish a voluntary interstate teaching application program for participating states. To participate in the program, a state must require sufficiently rigorous assessments in awarding a teaching license or certification.
