This resolution calls for the release of, and provision of medical attention to, Cuban political prisoner Silverio Portal Contreras, and it condemns the politically motivated imprisonment of dissidents in Cuba. Further, it calls for the release of all who have been arbitrarily detained due to their advocacy for human rights and democracy, and it urges the lifting of all legal restrictions that limit the freedoms of expression and association in Cuba.

Coronavirus Economic Relief for Transportation Services Act [HB-7642]
Requires the Department of the Treasury to provide grants and other forms of emergency assistance to certain providers of transportation services that have experienced a significant revenue loss as a direct or indirect result of COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019). Treasury must ensure equal access to the assistance for small, minority-owned, and women-owned businesses. Required Minimum Distribution Modernization Act of 2020 [HB-8567]
Revises rules requiring mandatory minimum distributions from tax-exempt retirement plans. Specifically, it increases from 72 to 75 the age at which plan participants must being making distributions from their accounts. It also exempts defined contribution plans from mandatory distribution requirements if the aggregate value of an employee's entire interest in all such plans does not exceed $100,000.

Veterans Claim Transparency Act of 2020 [HB-7443]
Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide the representative of a veteran with an opportunity to review a proposed determination regarding a claim for compensation or benefits before such determination becomes final. The VA must notify the representative in writing that a proposed determination is ready for review and may not make a final determination until the review period has ended. Under the bill, a representative has up to 48 hours to review the proposed determination.
