VA Medicinal Cannabis Research Act of 2019 [HB-712]
Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to conduct a clinical trial of the effects of medical-grade cannabis on the health outcomes of covered veterans diagnosed with chronic pain, and also those diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. Covered veterans are those who are enrolled in the VA patient enrollment system for hospital care and medical services.

Conrad State 30 and Physician Access Reauthorization Act [HB-2895]
Modifies the Conrad 30 Waiver program, which incentivizes qualified foreign physicians to serve in underserved communities. It also extends statutory authority for the program through FY2021. Aliens coming to the United States under a J-1 nonimmigrant visa to receive medical training typically must leave the country and reside for two years abroad before being eligible to apply for an immigrant visa or permanent residence. Prescription Drug Price Reporting Act [HB-5239]
Requires that all prescription drug manufacturers submit certain information for every drug marketed in the United States to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Specifically, manufacturers must provide information about cost, pricing, and rebates. Manufacturers are also required to submit any price changes to a prescription drug at least 30 days in advance.HHS must make this information available through a public database that enables consumers to subscribe to price change notifications for different types of prescriptions drugs.

Veterans Posttraumatic Growth Act [HB-1997]
Requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to conduct a two-year pilot program to study the effectiveness of nonprofit post-traumatic growth programs to determine (1) the outcomes of such programs in contrast to traditional models of mental health care, (2) the possible integration of such nonprofit programs into VA mental health care programs, and (3) the budgetary impact of such integration.
