To (1) specify that, for certain positions with state agencies that require criminal background checks, the Department of Administrative Services shall also require such checks, and (2) require that current employees of certain such positions be subject to such checks every five years instead of every ten years.

To (1) prevent foreign interference in state referenda and elections and allow for greater enforcement of violations, (2) implement federal court rulings regarding independent expenditure political committees and contributions to such committees, (3) make adjustments to reflect the United States Supreme Court ruling aggregate contribution limits for individuals, (4) more explicitly recognize referendum spending as a type of independent expenditure and require reporting as such, (5) impose attribution requirements for certain forms of referendum

An Act Concerning The Treasurer And Unclaimed Property Of Citizens' Election Program Candidate Committees. [HB-5493]
To provide that (1) whenever a terminated Citizens' Election Program candidate committee appears on the Treasurer's published unclaimed property list, certain individuals may apply to the Treasurer for removal of the committee's name from such list, and (2) the moneys associated with such committee's appearance on such list shall be included in the annual deposit of funds into the Citizens' Election Fund.
