To create parity between the dollar threshold for consultants on the "On-Call List" for nonhigher education projects and on the "On-Call List" for higher education projects and to reflect the current rate of inflation in the industry and to clarify that the Judicial Department is required to use competitive bidding for every contract for construction, reconstruction and alteration of a public building or other public work which is estimated to cost more than $500,000.

An Act Concerning The Duties Of The Department Of Information Technology. [SB-286]
To allow the Department of Information Technology to establish general guidelines for the professional development of state information technology employees rather than training other agency employees, to allow the department to establish general guidelines concerning the fees for copying computer-stored public records rather than monitoring individual agency fees, to add the department to the list of departments within the executive branch and to add the department as a member to the E 9-1-1 Commission.
