An Act To Amend Title 15 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Special Elections. [HB-236]
This bill is a total rewrite of the special election chapter. It provides that the officer issuing the writ do so within 10 days of the vacancy, that he/she sets the date of the special election not less than 30 nor more than 35 days following the issuance of the writ, establishes a nomination deadline of 25 days prior to the date of election, provides for unaffiliated candidates, establishes requirements for notices, and otherwise updates the chapter.

An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Notice Of School Elections. [HB-244]
This bill, amends the notice requirements for school districts conducting elections pursuant to Title 14, Chapters 10, 19, 20, and 21. It also provides a deadline for a school district to return voter affidavits if given to it and makes voting twice in a school election a crime. It would clarify the content of the notice to be posted by school districts conducting referenda to raise local taxes and/or issue local bonds and authorizes the Department of Elections to cancel an election to raise local taxes and/or issue bonds if the notice requirements

An Act To Amend Title 15 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Elections. [HB-245]
This act updates obsolete language and procedures, revises procedures to make the conduct of elections more effective and efficient, and removes conflicting provisions. An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Specific Offenses. [HB-299]
Currently, if a person intentionally causes serious physical injury or physical injury to first responders such as a law enforcement officer or firefighter that person has committed the offense of assault in the first degree or assault in the second degree respectively. This bill includes emergency medical technicians, fire police, fire marshals and paramedics acting in the lawful performance of duty to the group of first responders listed as special victims for assault in the first degree and assault in the second degree.
