This bill provides for Election Day registration for presidential primary, primary, special, and general elections whereas currently the deadline is the fourth Saturday prior to the date of the election. Moreover, same day registration at polling places will be permitted with submission of valid government issued identification or other generally accepted proof of identification. This Act declassifies a number of minor violations associated with state parks by changing some violations from an unclassified misdemeanor to a class D environmental violation. As a result, the first offense of a class D environmental violation will not be reported on criminal history records provided by the State Bureau of Identification for employment purposes under 8513(c) of Title 11.
