Requesting That The Delaware Department Of Natural Resources And Environmental Control (dnrec) Work With Delaware's U.s. Congressional Delegation, As Well As The U.s. National Parks Service And State Officials In New Jersey And Pennsylvania, To Facilitate The Creation Of A Tidal Delaware River National Recreation Area. [HCR-51]
This concurrent resolution urges the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) to work with Delaware’s Congressional Delegation, as well as the U.S. National Parks Service and state officials in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, in facilitating the creation of a Tidal Delaware River National Recreation Area. This proposed area would promote important cultural, historical, and recreational points of interest along a 72-mile section of the river running from Delaware City north to Trenton.
