Requesting That The Delaware Department Of Safety And Homeland Security Study And Make Findings And Recommendations Regarding Delaware's Ability To Support Text-to-911 Service And The Feasibility Of Embedding The Physical Location Of The Texter Into The Message Sent To 911 Dispatchers. [SCR-8]
This Resolution requests that the Secretary of the Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security coordinate an effort to study and make findings and recommendations regarding Delaware’s ability to support text-to-911 service and the feasibility of embedding the physical location of the texter into the message sent to 911 dispatchers. The Secretary shall present a final report of his findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly by June 20, 2013.

An Act Proposing An Amendment To Article Viii Of The Delaware Constitution Relating To Revenue And Taxation. [HB-104]
This Act places a constitutional limitation on base general fund operating appropriations. An Act Proposing An Amendment To Article Iv, 37 Of The Delaware Constitution Relating To The Court On The Judiciary. [HB-112]
Like all judges within the state, the judges of the Justice of the Peace Court are subject to the jurisdiction of the Court on the Judiciary. This Act is the first leg of a constitutional amendment that would add the Chief Magistrate to the Court on the Judiciary so that the presiding judge of each of the six state courts serves as a member.

An Act To Amend Title 10 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Delaware Supreme Court. [HB-113]
Since at least the 1980s, the Supreme Court has occasionally heard argument in locations other than Dover when time exigencies or special circumstances (such as the educational value of holding arguments at a law school) justified a departure from holding argument in Dover. To ensure that this long-standing practice is consistent with the Code, this Act would specifically authorize such limited exceptions to the general rule that the Supreme Court hears arguments in Dover. An Act Proposing An Amendment To The Delaware Constitution Relating To The Realty Transfer Tax. [HB-124]
The Delaware Farmland Preservation Fund was created under the Delaware Agricultural Lands Preservation Act in order to conserve, protect, and encourage improvement of agricultural lands within the State. The Legislature has previously expressed its desire that $10 million in receipts from the State Realty Transfer Tax be allocated annually to this fund in order to accomplish its goals.
