An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code And Volume 79 Of The Laws Of Delaware Relating To Lotteries. [SB-112]
This Act puts in place a permanent solution to allow for a fraternal or veterans organization with national affiliation or an organization whose membership consists primarily of veterans honorably discharged or active duty service member to operate charitable video lottery machines within their organizations upon approval from the Director of the Lottery. An Act To Authorize And Approve The Transfer By The Town Of Kenton To Veterans Watchmaker Initiative Certain Real Property In The Town Of Kenton Described In Kent County Recorder Of Deeds Book F, Volume 30, Page 178 [SB-153]
This bill authorizes the Town of Kenton to transfer a parcel of land, previously transferred to the Town by the State, to the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative which aids veterans. If the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative does not use the property for its original purposes, the property will revert to the State.

An Act To Amend Title 21 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Gross Vehicle Weight Of Live-haul Poultry Trucks. [SB-160]
The bill would increase the weight limit for live-haul poultry trucks operating on Delaware highways within 100 miles of the plant in order to accommodate the poultry industry and ensure public safety. In addition, the bill would provide for a weight variance of 3 percent to account for variations in bird weight. Live-haul poultry trucks are granted the increased weight limit and associated variance provided that these trucks are in compliance with several conditions aimed at ensuring public safety. Criminals who attempt to prevent victims or witnesses from cooperating with the investigation and prosecution of crimes pose a real and growing threat to public safety and the orderly administration of justice. An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Falsely Reporting That A Firearm Has Been Lost Or Stolen And Providing A False Statement To Law Enforcement Concerning Lost Or Stolen Firearms. [SB-18]
This Act makes clear that it is a class A misdemeanor to falsely report to a law enforcement agency that a firearm has been lost or stolen. The Act also increases the penalty for providing a false statement to law enforcement that a firearm has been lost or stolen intending to prevent, hinder or delay the investigation of any crime or offense.
