This bill will provide that when a municipal department is conducting an internal affairs investigation of a Council on Police Training Certified Police Officer pursuant to Delaware Code a certified officer from another department can conduct the investigation. This is necessary when the department is a small department who does not have the necessary staff to conduct the investigation.

An Act To Reincorporate The Town Of Georgetown. [HB-4]
The Town of Georgetown appointed a seven (7) member charter review committee to address mainly house-keeping revisions to its charter. The Committee met twice a month over several months to review and revise its charter. The result is their re-incorporated bill. An Act To Amend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Real Estate Brokers, Associate Brokers, And Salespersons. [HB-406]
This Bill requires an auctioneer who is providing real estate services other than advertising and marketing real property for sale by auction, selling the property by auction on the day advertised, and performing ministerial tasks necessary for settlement to comply with the license requirements of Title 24, Chapter 29. If the original bidder is not able to complete settlement, then the auctioneer may offer the property on the same terms to other registered bidders.

An Act To Amend Title 13 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Registration Of Child Support Orders And Income-withholding Orders From Other Jurisdictions. [HB-407]
This Bill amends the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act relating to the registration of child support orders, income-withholding orders, or both, from other states. The amendments provide that such orders can be registered in Delaware by either the foreign jurisdiction or the applicable support enforcement agency in Delaware sending those orders (and other pertinent information) directly to the Family Court, either physically or by electronic transmission. This Bill also removes the requirement that two copies of such order be provided.

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Prevailing Wage Requirements. [HB-6]
This bill raises the dollar thresholds for public works projects subject to the prevailing wage requirement to $350,000 for new construction and $100,000 for alteration, repair, renovation, rehabilitation, demolition or reconstruction. Neither of these figures have been adjusted since 1994.
