An Act To Amend Chapter 18, Title 6 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Creation, Regulation, Operation And Dissolution Of Domestic Limited Liability Companies And The Registration And Regulation Of Foreign Limited Liability Companies. [SB-78]
This bill continues the practice of amending periodically the Delaware Limited Liability Company Act (the "Act") to keep it current and to maintain its national preeminence. The following is a section-by-section review of the proposed amendments of the Act. Section 1. This section amends 18-204(c) of the Act to confirm that the provisions of that section relating to a power of attorney also apply to a proxy. Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10. An Act To Amend Title 10 And Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Domestic Violence. [SB-83]
This Act makes several changes to Title 10 and Title 11 of the Delaware Code relating to domestic violence. First, this Act amends 1045, Title 10 relating domestic violence protective orders to clarify the procedures related to the disposition of firearms in the possession of a respondent. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Medical Marijuana. [SB-90]
This Act adds intractable epilepsy to the list of debilitating medical conditions for which a physician may supply a written certification for medical marijuana. It also specifically adds disorders such as dystonia which are characterized by involuntary muscle contractions that cause slow, repetitive movements or abnormal postures. Currently no form of medical marijuana is legally available for those with debilitating medical conditions if they are under 18 years old. It clarifies that health care facilities are able to transport their Medicaid patients and receive reimbursement from a Medicaid transportation contractor.
