An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Lottery. [HB-100]
This bill requires the Lottery Director to use his or her authority to reestablish a sports lottery, which will enhance the Delaware Lottery, protect Delaware employment, help Delaware and its lottery meet new competition, and provide additional revenues for the State. The bill is intended to provide a significant additional source of revenue to the State. The sports lottery excludes collegiate sporting events that involve a Delaware college or university. An Act To Amend Titles 10, 13 And 31 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Dscyf Custody And Third Party Visitation. [HB-104]
This bill modifies some of the existing provisions in the Delaware Code relating to custody and third party visitation of children. This bill also creates two new chapters in Title 13 of the Delaware Code, which are designed to be more user-friendly chapters relating to custody and third party visitation of children. Section 1 of the bill slightly broadens the definition of “relative” to include great-grandparents, grand aunts or uncles and half brothers and sisters. An Act To Amend Title 21 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Ignition Interlock Device (iid) Program. [HB-111]
This is a housekeeping bill to correct an error. Delaware law currently restricts subsequent DUI offenders who are eligible for the Ignition Interlock Device (IID) mechanism from being eligible for IID driver licenses if their driving privileges are currently in a suspended, revoked, denied, or unavailable status for any other violations of the law of any jurisdiction. An Act To Amend Titles 14 And 15 Of The Delaware Code Relating To School Boards And School Board Elections. [HB-117]
This bill will save the State of Delaware money by having school board elections on the date of the general election and it will increase the voter turnout for school board elections. Currently, school board elections are held on the second Tuesday of May and can occur in any year. An Act To Amend Title 18 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Health Insurance. [HB-118]
This Act provides that if an entity requires a pharmacy to submit a request for payment electronically, then the pharmacy or its designated agent may choose to be reimbursed electronically, and in that event the entity shall electronically reimburse such pharmacy and shall provide the appropriate payment data electronically. In addition, an entity subject to this section may not impose a processing fee for the electronic reimbursement or for providing payment data electronically.

An Act To Amend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Related To The Issuance Of A Limited License For A Director Or Chairperson Of A Dental Or Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. [HB-135]
This legislation would permit the Board to grant a limited license to a Director or Chairperson of a hospital dental or oral and maxillofacial surgery department and its associated residency programs, who would be permitted to train and teach future practitioners in dentistry or oral and maxillofacial surgery. At the current time, Delaware has a nationally recognized residency program in these fields.
