Importers, manufacturers and dealers of destructive weapons are licensed and regulated under Federal law. Under existing Delaware law, importers, manufacturers and dealers of destructive weapons are not permitted to deliver them to purchasers in Delaware who are otherwise permitted to own such weapons, such as military or police forces. This Act clarifies that after a physician-patient relationship has been properly established in accordance with this section, subsequent communications and treatment may be conducted as the doctor and patient deem appropriate. As with all practice of medicine, such subsequent interactions must still meet the standard of care for the given field of medicine.

An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Bail Conditions. [HB-205]
This Act authorizes a court to impose as a condition of bail that a person charged with misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence not be permitted to drive a vehicle. This Act also allows the Justice of the Peace Court to retain jurisdiction to impose, modify and enforce bail conditions for misdemeanor Driving Under the Influence offenders even after the case is transferred to the Court of Common Pleas for trial. An Act To Amend Title 21 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Drivers License Revocation. [HB-206]
This Act allows the Division of Motor Vehicles to issue a conditional license at the request of the Justice of the Peace for a Driving Under the Influence offender whose charge is still pending, but whose license has been suspended by the Division of Motor Vehicles. The conditional license can only be issued on the condition that the offender submit to continuous sobriety monitoring. This Act ensures that a person can enter a sobriety monitoring program, but not face the loss of full licensure that would negate the benefits of entering and participating

An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Possession Of Deadly Weapons. [HB-234]
This act clarifies that the felony of Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Person Prohibited shall not apply to persons who are prohibited from possessing a deadly weapon solely by their possession of a personal use quantity of marijuana, when such possession qualifies as a civil penalty under Title 16. This bill addresses the legal issue in State v. Murray (Del. Super. 2017).

In 2006, Delaware enacted Jessicas Law, which requires first time offenders convicted of a specified sexual offense against a child under 14 years of age and individuals previously convicted of a Class A or B sexual offense in Title 11 and subsequently convicted of a specified sexual offense sentences be sentenced to at least 25 years in prison, up to life.
