This Bill amends Title 21 of the Delaware Code to allow for the public inspection of information in accident reports when (1) it is for purpose of researching the history of vehicles; (2) the information sought from the accident report does not disclose any identifying information of any reporting person or accident victim; and (3) the Department of Safety and Homeland Security finds that the public inspection of said information shall promote the interests of public safety. An Act To Amend Title 15 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Elections And Candidate Disclosures. [HB-79]
This Bill requires all statewide and other candidates that may appear on the general election ballot to disclose (1) that their State and Federal income tax returns are filed and any tax due has been paid; (2) that child support payments pursuant to court order are current, and (3) that their real property taxes have been paid. Filing a false statement could be prosecuted.

This bill codifies the common law and protects the secondary market for life insurance in Delaware. The common law rule in Delaware is that an insurer cannot rescind or otherwise invalidate a life insurance policy unless it refunds the premiums that it has collected on the policy.
