An Act To Amend Title 15 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Elections. [HB-105]
This bill provides for election day registration for presidential primary, primary, special, and general elections whereas currently the deadline is the fourth Saturday prior to the date of the election. Moreover, same day registration at polling places will be permitted with submission of valid government issued identification or other generally accepted proof of identification.

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Lobbyists. [HB-13]
This bill prohibits a former member of the General Assembly from acting as a lobbyist for a period of one year after such person’s term of office ends. Any person who knowingly violates this section shall be guilty of an unclassified misdemeanor. This bill shall take effect January 1, 2015.

An Act To Amend Titles 19 And 29 Of The Delaware Code With Regard To Employment Practices. [HB-167]
This bill would prohibit a public employer from inquiring into or considering the criminal record, criminal history or credit history or score of an applicant before it makes a conditional offer to the applicant. It would permit inquiry and consideration of criminal background after the conditional offer has been made. An Act To Amend Title 12 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Administering A Decedent's Estate And To Amend Title 25 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Definitions And Summary Possession Proceedings. [HB-171]
The law does not currently adequately address the situations that arise when the sole tenant of a residential rental unit dies. This bill provides access to the rental unit by the next of kin or personal representative, who has received valid documentation issued by the Register of Wills, for the purpose of removing the personal possessions from the decedent’s residential rental unit. An Act To Amend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Electricians And The Performance Of Electrical Work By An Unlicensed Person. [HB-172]
This bill ensures that new applicants for a journeyperson electrician license must have performed 8000 hours of electrical work and passed the journeyperson exam before such person can obtain a journeyperson electrician license. An Act To Amend Title 13 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Child Protection From Domestic Violence And Sex Offenders Act. [HB-181]
This bill adds support proceedings to the Family Court proceedings in which mediation is prohibited. This applies to cases in which one of the parties has been found by a court to have committed an act of domestic violence against the other party or if either party has been ordered to stay away or have no contact with the other party, unless a victim of domestic violence who is represented by counsel requests such mediation.
