An Act To Ammend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Licensure Of Art Therapists. [SB-218]
This bill amends Title 24 of the Delaware Code by changing the qualifications for a Professional Art Therapists. For those graduating with a master's degree prior to January 2013, a master's degree from an accredited educational institution in an art therapy program that was either approved by the American Art Therapy Association or accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs at the time the degree was conferred is required.

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Delaware Population Consortium. [SB-219]
Since 1975, the Delaware Population Consortium has prepared a unified set of statewide population projections each year. These projections are used for a variety of purposes including capital planning, policy analysis, comprehensive planning, and transportation planning. All 3 counties are required by State law to utilize these projections to prepare their required comprehensive plans. However, the Delaware Population Consortium does not exist in State law. An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Service Pensions For Certain State Employees. [SB-22]
This bill establishes a 20 year retirement for correction officers and specified peace officers. The bill amends the multiplier for calculation of state employee pension benefits for correction officers and specified peace officers from either 1.85%, 2.0% or 2.45% to a uniform 2.5% for the first 20 years, plus 3.5% for years beyond 20 years. The increased multipliers reflect increased costs, reduced benefits and the need to recruit and retain qualified and competent correction officers and specified peace officers with a modernized pension benefit. An Act To Amend Title 6 And Title 26 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Public Service Commission And The Regulation Of Motor Vehicle Dealers And Public Utilities. [SB-226]
The Public Service Commissions (PSC) authority over public utilities has been changed by recent decisions by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and legislation enacted in Delaware. This Act changes the statutory requirements for PSC public utilities to remove requirements that are no longer consistent with the FCC decisions and revised State laws but impose unnecessary burdens and costs on utilities and administrative costs to the PSC. This Act also removes an unnecessary administrative requirement regarding motor vehicle dealers.
