This bill revises the Delaware Charter School law to require that all charter school applications be submitted to local school boards for review and consideration. The bill requires local school boards to conduct a face-to-face meeting with the charter school applicant to review and discuss the application. An Act To Amend Title 30 Relating To The Personal Income Tax And Age 55+ Housing. [HB-405]
This Act shall be known as the “Delaware Age 55+ Volunteer Program Act.” It provides incentives for those buying Age 55+ Homes to donate their time and talent to Delaware charities and non-profit organizations. Provided an individual donates at least 52 hours of service to participating non-profits, the individual shall be entitled to a tax credit in the amount of 2% of the purchase price of their home, up to a maximum of $8,000. An Act To Amend Title 10 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Foreclosures Including A Foreclosure Mediation Program For Homeowners. [HB-58]

An Act To Amend Chapter 25, Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Consumer Protection. [HB-59]
This bill provides for an Office within the Division of Consumer Protection to identify mortgage foreclosure fraud, to reduce foreclosure, and to promote financial literacy. In addition, the Office will receive calls from borrowers in default and make appropriate referrals to housing counselors or other agencies.
