This bill ensures that retaliation against an employee by an employer for refusing to engage in an offense under Chapter 80, Title 15 of the Delaware Code or reporting or participating in an investigation, hearing, trial or inquiry of an offense of Chapter 80, Title 15 of the Delaware Code shall not occur.

An Act To Amend Title 15 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Elections. [HB-302]
This bill establishes a more efficient structure for the administration of Delaware’s campaign finance laws, establishes a mechanism for citizens to report possible violations, and gives the State Election Commissioner the resources necessary to investigate potential violations. This bill permits the Public Integrity Commission to report active candidates for State office who fail to timely file their financial disclosure reports, or who submit false information, to the State Election Commissioner while also protecting the Public Integrity Commission from being charged with a violation of 5816.

During hearings of the Animal Welfare Task Force, established by Senate Concurrent Resolution 44 in the 146th General Assembly, members of the public expressed serious concern about the lack in standardized training and certification of Animal Control Officers (ACOs) and Animal Cruelty Agents (ACAs). ACOs and ACAs in the State of Delaware carry out law enforcement duties, such as issuing warrants, citations, and seizing evidence, yet they are not currently required to have any uniform training and certification.
