This bill prohibits housing discrimination based on source of income by adding “source of income” as a protected class under the Delaware Fair Housing Act and the Landlord Tenant Code. A person may still take into account sufficiency of income and credit worthiness of a tenant or buyer, so long as any standards are applied neutrally without regard to the source of income. This bill requires that hospitals, physicians and other health professionals provide information about Down Syndrome and Down Syndrome resources and support groups to parents who have received a prenatal or postnatal diagnosis of Down Syndrome. The Department of Health and Social Services is tasked with collecting and distributing appropriate information to health care providers for distribution to parents. This bill will ensure that parents receiving a Down Syndrome diagnosis are timely provided accurate and complete information about Down Syndrome

An Act To Amend Title 21 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Rules Of The Road And Speed Restrictions. [HB-224]
The Delaware Code currently provides municipalities with discretion in the establishment of speed limits on roads within their respective jurisdictions in conjunction with an engineering and traffic investigation verifying the basis for change. The Department of Transportation has traditionally reviewed these requested changes. This bill merely corrects the reference to the approving department from the Department of Safety and Homeland Security to the Department of Transportation.

An Act To Amend Title 21 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Conditional Licenses. [HB-229]
This bill allows for a conditional license for the purpose of attending school or job training for anyone who has had their license revoked for conviction of a drug offense. An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Public Schools. [HB-23]
