This legislation provides for the development of a statewide, fact-based cyberbullying policy to be adopted by local school districts and charter schools. It also provides a means for the Department of Justice to assist in the defense of a district or school whose use of that statewide cyberbullying policy is subject to legal challenge. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Delaware Healthy Children Program. [SB-21]
This Act removes the provision requiring that participants in the Delaware Healthy Children Program pay a premium to participate, while allowing the Department of Health and Social Services to consider instituting minimal co-payments for health services in order to recover a portion of the revenue that would be lost due to the absence of premium payments. Removing the premium payment may reverse declining enrollment in the Program and increase the number of children in Delaware who have health insurance coverage.

An Act To Amend Titles 9, 22, And 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To State And Local Governments And Legal Notices. [SB-212]
The internet has grown rapidly as an acceptable means of communication and transacting commerce. This Act will use the internet as a means to modernize the notice requirements for procurement bids, agency meetings, and public hearings. This Act will provide more convenient and universal access to legal notices for all interested parties and will do so in a cost-effective manner. This Act will require State agencies to electronically publish notice of all contracts subject to the bid requirements of Chapter 69, Title 29 by January 1, 2013. The amendments (continued...)

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Delaware Commission Of Veteran’s Affairs Member Appointments. [SB-270]
