An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Charter School Employee Salaries. [HB-314]
This bill requires that any general salary increase or one-time adjustments payable to public school employees likewise be payable to charter school employees. The bill also makes section 504A, Title 14 of the Delaware Code consistent with the Legislative Drafting Manual.

An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Gun Shop Project. [HB-302]
In 2009, New Hampshire was the first state to develop a statewide Gun Shop Project, reaching out to gun shops regarding the role they can play in suicide prevention. In the years since, at least 21 other states have implemented similar campaigns. This Act establishes the Delaware Gun Shop Project.

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The State Employees' Pension Plan. [HB-99]
This bill provides that for correction officers and specified peace officers, the amount of ordinary service or disability pension benefits given to state employees shall also include the following: (1) Before July 1, 2019, 2.45% of his or her final average compensation multiplied by years of service above 25 years; (2) After July 1, 2019, 2.5% of his or her final average compensation multiplied by the number of years of service for up to 20 years, plus 3.5% of his or her final average compensation multiplied by the number of years of service above (continued...)

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Drinking Water. [HB-337]
This Act mandates that the Department of Health and Human Services, in conjunction with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control to establish Maximum Contaminant Levels for specific contaminants found in drinking water in this state. Such contaminants include PFOA and PFOS, which are man-made chemicals that have been used in industries in this state. These chemicals were found to be associated with increased risks of chronic diseases. An Act To Amend Title 15 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Voting By Mail For The 2020 Non-presidential Primary, General, And Special Elections. [HB-346]
This Act provides for voting by mail for the 2020 primary and general elections and special elections held under the provisions of Chapter 73 of Title 15 due to the emergency caused by COVID-19, a highly contagious virus. Voting by mail is an alternative to, and not a replacement for, in-person voting, which remains an available option to those electors not voting by absentee or mail ballot. An Act To Amend Title 11 The Delaware Code Relating To Chokeholds. [HB-350]
This Act creates the crime of Aggravated Strangulation. A person is guilty of Aggravated Strangulation if the person is a law-enforcement officer, and while acting within the persons official capacity as a law-enforcement officer, knowingly or intentionally uses a chokehold on another person. Under this Act, a chokehold is only justifiable when the person reasonably believes deadly force is warranted in order to protect the life of a civilian or law-enforcement officer. An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Freedom Of Information Act. [HB-1]
This bill allows the public to have access to meetings of the Delaware General Assembly except for caucuses. Additionally, the bill allows the public to have access to records of the Delaware General Assembly.
