An Act To Amend Titles 10, 29 And 31 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Extending The Jurisdiction Of The Family Court For Abused, Dependent And Neglected Children. [SB-113]
This Bill creates a procedure by which youth exiting foster care in Delaware and who are provided services under the John H. Chafee Independence Act and/or the Fostering Connections and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008 have a legal mechanism for Family Court to review the appropriateness of such services. The bill also specifically limits any findings on the reasonableness of the services to be offered and coordinated by the DSCYF to the youth, including financial, housing, medical, employment, training, education and other appropriate services, (continued...)

An Act To Amend Title 26 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Renewable Energy Portfolio Standards. [SB-119]
This act will amend existing law by increasing the required minimum percentage of renewable energy supply to Delaware customers, such as solar, wind, geothermal, and hydroelectric power. The act achieves this goal by setting a minimum percentage of energy that must come from renewable resources at 30% by 2023. The act also creates a Distributed Renewable Energy carve out of 10% by 2023.

This Delaware Health Security Act will provide all current and future Delaware citizens, out-of-state workers employed 20 hours or more per week in Delaware and our state's economy a non-government run (NOT socialized medicine) program and cost effective single payer health care system. An Act To Amend Titles 6, 9, 18, 19, 25, And 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Discrimination In Employment, Public Works Contracting, Housing, Equal Accommodations And The Insurance Business. [SB-121]
This Act adds the term “sexual orientation” to the already-existing list of prohibited practices of discrimination. As such, this Act would forbid discrimination against a person on the basis of sexual orientation in housing, employment, public works contracting, public accommodations, and insurance. In addition, this Act would establish that the Superior Court, in the first instance, would hear and adjudicate alleged criminal violations under the Act of equal accommodations, fair housing and employment discrimination.

An Act To Amend Title 28 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Nonprofit Charitable Gaming. [SB-134]
This bill amends Title 28, Chapter 11 of the Delaware Code to add language to permit persons 16-18 years of age to conduct or assist in conducting bingo games, and persons over the age of 14 to serve as waiters and waitresses at bingo games, while not allowing such persons to play in the bingo game. An Act To Amend Title 13 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Division Of Child Support Enforcement. [SB-213]
This Bill would allow the Division of Child Support Enforcement to disburse support payments electronically, either by direct deposit to a bank account or to a stored value card, instead of by mailing checks. Provision is made for exceptions to this practice where disbursing payments to the child support obligee by electronic transfer is not feasible.

An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Timing Of An Initial Hearing Before A Judge Of A Person Who Is Temporarily Incapacitated. [SB-217]
This Act codifies much of the current local practice by the police and the Justice of the Peace Court when handling defendants who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who have to be hospitalized at the time of arrest on serious charge and are unable to appear for presentments. For those defendants who are hospitalized, the transfer of custody provided for in this Bill allows the arresting officer to return to patrol or other public safety duties in a more timely manner, while allowing the defendant access to bail.
