An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Freedom Of Information Act. [HB-1]
This bill allows the public to have access to meetings of the Delaware General Assembly except for caucuses. Additionally, the bill allows the public to have access to records of the Delaware General Assembly. The current exceptions that apply to public bodies and public records would apply to meetings and records of the Delaware General Assembly.

An Act To Amend Titles 10, 13 And 31 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Dscyf Custody And Third Party Visitation. [HB-104]
This bill modifies some of the existing provisions in the Delaware Code relating to custody and third party visitation of children. This bill also creates two new chapters in Title 13 of the Delaware Code, which are designed to be more user-friendly chapters relating to custody and third party visitation of children. Section 1 of the bill slightly broadens the definition of “relative” to include great-grandparents, grand aunts or uncles and half brothers and sisters. An Act To Amend Title 19 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Construction Industry Independent Contractor Act. [HB-129]
This bill is the Construction Industry Independent Contractor Act. Employers in the construction industry who improperly classify construction employees as independent contractors deprive these employees of proper Social Security benefits and other benefits, while reducing the employers’ State and federal tax withholdings and related obligations. An Act To Amend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Related To The Issuance Of A Limited License For A Director Or Chairperson Of A Dental Or Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. [HB-135]
This legislation would permit the Board to grant a limited license to a Director or Chairperson of a hospital dental or oral and maxillofacial surgery department and its associated residency programs, who would be permitted to train and teach future practitioners in dentistry or oral and maxillofacial surgery. At the current time, Delaware has a nationally recognized residency program in these fields. An Act To Amend Title 9 Of The Delaware Code Relating To New Castle County And The Granting Of An Administrative Variance. [HB-14]
This Act would allow the New Castle County Department of Land Use to administratively grant a variance of 15% or 1 foot, whichever is greater, of the required dimensional restriction. This Act shall sunset one year after the date of enactment, absent additional action by the General Assembly. Upon such aforementioned repeal, the law immediately existing prior to enactment of this bill shall be re-enacted immediately without any further Act of the General Assembly.

An Act To Amend Chapter 60, Title 7 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Recycling And Waste Reduction In The State Of Delaware. [HB-15]
It is the intent of the Legislature, in enacting this Bill, to encourage the use of reusable bags by consumers and retailers and to reduce the consumption of limited use plastic carryout bags that require massive quantities of oil, cause countless pollution, and, as such bags decompose, are harmful to the health of the environment and humans. This Bill would require a store, as defined, to establish an at-store recycling program that provides an opportunity for a customer of the store to return clean plastic carryout bags to that store. An Act To Amend Title 10 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Abolishing Jury Commissioners. [HB-151]
Jury commissioners were previously used to insure that a random and fair cross section of the community was called for jury service by manually reviewing the jury pool. Today, jury selection is a computerized process handled by a professional staff in the Superior Court and jury commissioners no longer perform this task. The duties of jury commissioners have been reduced to functions that can easily be performed by staff.
