Establishing A Study Commission On Lobbyist Ethics. [HJR-4]
This joint resolution establishes a Study Commission on Lobbyist Ethics to examine Delaware’s ethics laws as they relate to regulated lobbyists. The 13-member Study Commission includes (i) four individuals appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate, (ii) four individuals appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and (iii) five individuals appointed by the Governor. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Long-term Care Ombudsman. [SB-102]
This Bill, if enacted, keeps the Long-term Care Ombudsman program at Delaware Health & Social Services but allows it to be located outside the Division of Aging and Adults with Physical Disabilities. This change is required by the Federal Administration on Aging to keep the Ombudsman program in a separate Division from the long term care facilities.
