An Act To Amend Title 3 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Pesticides. [SB-264]
This Act requires the Delaware Department of Agriculture to promulgate rules and regulations, that will not become effective until July 1, 2024, classifying neonicotinoid pesticides designed or intended for use in outdoor applications as state restricted use pesticides, creating a list of chemicals that belong to the neonicotinoid class of chemicals, and banning the retail sale of neonicotinoid pesticides to the public for outdoor applications. An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Department Of Correction. [HB-394]
This Act provides that the Department of Correction must provide a copy of all policies relating to the accrual and forfeiture of good time to inmates, as well as a quarterly written accounting of good time credit earned and/or forfeited. The requirement that all accrued time must be forfeited upon conviction of any crime within custody, the complete forfeiture will apply only to commission of felonies. Forfeiture of good times for rule violations is changed to apply only to Class I disciplinary violations.

An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Education. [SB-13]
This Act creates a Ban the Box policy for postsecondary institutions in the state. Ban the Box or Beyond the Box policies refer to the removal of questions about ones criminal conviction history on a college or job application. Research shows that questions about criminal conviction history deter individuals from applying to an institution and increase the likelihood of rejection, with a disproportionate effect on people of color.

This is the first leg of an amendment to the Delaware Constitution to conserve, protect and maintain Delawares natural resources, including its water, air, soil, flora, fauna, ecosystems and climate. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Naloxone And Other Opioid Antagonists. [SB-292]
An opioid antagonist is a medication approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for emergency reversal of a known or suspected opioid overdose. Currently, naloxone is the only FDA-approved opioid antagonist, however, the FDA is expected to approve at least 1 new, more powerful opioid antagonist in 2022.
