This bill eliminates from Title 25 of the Delaware Code language providing that if the Board of Directors of the Delaware Manufactured Home Relocation Authority does not adopt an adjusted assessment on or before January 31, 2006 then the Board shall eliminate the fees in its entirety. The Authority having complied with the requirement, the sentence is no longer relevant.

An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To School Attendance Requirements. [HB-24]
This Bill implements recommendations from the Truancy Task Force by changing provisions of the Delaware Code regarding compulsory attendance and when a truancy case must be brought to the Truancy Court. Specifically, school attendance requirements shall apply to enrolled students through grade 12 and the school shall refer a case for prosecution after the 20th day of unexcused absence by a student. The amendments will provide for earlier intervention by the Court as well as providing a mechanism to address the needs of truant students past grade

An Act To Amend Title 10 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Levying Upon Goods In A Storage Warehouse [HB-244]
The development of portable storage units that may be placed upon an individual’s property has called into question whether these units are, in fact, “storage warehouses” and whether a constable may levy upon property located within. This legislation clarifies that portable storage containers are not storage warehouses and, therefore, the property located within is not exempt from levy and sale. It also eliminates the personal penalty directed to a constable who violates this section.

This bill adds to the existing crime of Violation of Privacy additional prohibited conduct related to the non-consensual dissemination of visual depictions containing nudity or sexual acts, conduct popularly referred to as “revenge porn”. “Revenge porn” typically refers to the situation where visual depictions are consensually given to an intimate partner who, after the end of the relationship, later disseminates them without the consent of the person depicted. An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Public Works Contracts. [HB-270]
This bill requires all contractors, subcontractors and independent contractors performing work under a public works contract to have an occupational and/or business license. Furthermore, this bill requires that all contractors verify that its subcontractors and independent contractors have an occupational and/or business licenses. A violation of this new section may result in a civil penalty.
