This Act provides that any person who solicits a door-to-door sale shall display a door-to-door salesperson identification card which shall include the person’s name, employer, employer telephone number, employer address and the State of Delaware business license number. This bill also provides that a door-to-door sale shall be solicited between the hours of 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. prevailing Delaware time, only. An Act To Amend Title 21 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Motor Vehicles Speed And Video Monitoring Systems. [HB-66]
This Act authorizes the Municipalities to establish a video speed enforcement program within 1/4 mile of any work zone or school. Similar to the red light cameras currently in use in this State, the vehicle speed monitoring systems authorized under the program will produce recorded images of motor vehicles traveling at least 11 miles per hour above the posted speed limit. Violations shall be subject to a civil assessment not to exceed $75, with an additional assessment of up to $25 if the original assessment is not paid within 20 days, and the procedures

An Act To Amend Title 30 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Personal Income Tax. [HB-97]
This Bill excludes from income taxes pensions received from the United States, including military retirement income, up to a maximum of $37,500.00 less any Social Security benefits paid by the United States in the taxable year. It is intended to equalize the treatment of Federal retirees who are not covered or are partially covered by the Social Security System with those retirees receiving Social Security benefits which are presently exempt from tax.
