This Bill establishes the State Council for Interstate Juvenile Supervision as required by the Interstate Compact for Juveniles, codified at 31 Del. C. 5203. An Act To Amend Titles 29 And 30 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Economic Development Incentives. [SB-294]
Section 1 of this Act establishes the Job Incentive Fund, which is designed to provide grants to firms that expand and diversify the most vital components of Delaware’s economy. Section 2 of this Act provides a multi-year funding source for the grants by earmarking Abandoned Property revenues. Section 3 of this Act removes the sunset from the State’s current employment and investment tax incentives and leaves them in effect.

An Act To Amend Title 9 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Taxes And Kent County Swimming Pools Which Are Owners Of Parkland. [SB-295]
This Bill creates a tax exemption for community-owned swimming pools in Kent County only. The exemption would apply only when the provisions of 8110 are completely met, including the requirement for open space or park land dedicated to community or public use.

This act reorganizes and renames the Board of Medical Practice to better reflect the Board's responsibilities and improve public understanding of the Board's role. An Act To Amend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Imposition Of Fines By The Board Of Medical Practice. [SB-298]
This act increases the incentive for persons with a mandatory reporting obligation under the Medical Practice Act to comply with their obligation under that Act. Sections 1 and 2 of the bill give the Board of Medical Practice additional flexibility to impose appropriate fines by increasing the range of fines from a maximum of $5,000 to a maximum of $10,000 for a first violation and $50,000 for a subsequent violation. An Act To Amend Title 7 Of Delaware Code Relating To Subdivided Residential Lots And Wetland Maps. [SB-299]
The purpose of this Bill is to protect owners of fully approved residential building lots from losing their right to build or expand a residence on such lots as the result of adoption of wetland maps at some later time. The Department has adopted regulations which strictly prohibit the construction of residences on areas which have been mapped as State wetlands.

Adds definitions to the Chapter and allows the Board to set fees for Texas Hold’em Games. Mandates that facilities only conduct one (1) tournament a day.
