An Act To Amend Title 6 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Prohibited Trade Practices. [HB-109]
This Act builds on previous legislation aimed at protecting children and others from the potential danger of exposure to the chemical bisphenol-A. The current version of 6 Del. C. 2509 addresses only bisphenol-A in bottles and children’s cups. This new version of the statute would prohibit the use of bisphenol-A in all reusable food and beverage containers, as well as the packaging of any food intended for or marketed to children (defined as those under age 12). An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Flame Retardants. [HB-110]
This Act protects children and families from the harmful effects of certain flame retardants used in furniture by adding a new chapter 105 to Title 16. Section 10501 provides definitions applicable in this chapter. Section 10502 prohibits the sale or distribution of children’s products or furniture containing TRIS in greater than fifty parts per million in any component product beginning in July 2014, and prohibits the sale or distribution of children’s products or furniture containing any “chemical of high concern,” as of July 2015. An Act To Amend Title 13 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Parental Rights. [HB-125]
This bill allows for the reinstatement of parental rights where a child remains in the custody of the Department of Services for Children, Youth, and Their Families, despite reasonable efforts to secure a permanent plan of adoption. Where it is in the best interests of the child, this bill allows for the legal relationship between the child and his or her biological family to be reinstated.

An Act To Amend Title 8 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The General Corporation Law. [HB-127]
Sections 1 and 2 amend 114 to reflect the amendments to 312(b) and 502(a) in Sections 14 and 19. Section 3 amends 152 of the DGCL. The added language in 152 clarifies that a board may determine the price or prices for which stock will be issued by approving a formula by which such price or prices will be determined. Section 4 amends the DGCL to add a new 204, which provides a safe harbor procedure for ratifying corporate acts or transactions and stock that, due to a "failure of authorization", would be void or voidable.
