An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Sexual Assault Reporting. [HB-1]
This bill will require responsible employees of institutions of higher educations to report incidents of sexual assault perpetrated by or against a student to the law enforcement authorities or public safety officials serving the institution of the alleged assault within 24 hours. The law enforcement authorities or public safety officials serving an academic institution are then required to report the sexual assault to the proper municipal or state authorities within 24 hours as well as the Delaware Department of Justice every 30 days. An Act Proposing An Amendment To Article Iv, 37 Of The Delaware Constitution Relating To The Court On The Judiciary. [HB-112]
Like all judges within the state, the judges of the Justice of the Peace Court are subject to the jurisdiction of the Court on the Judiciary. This Act is the first leg of a constitutional amendment that would add the Chief Magistrate to the Court on the Judiciary so that the presiding judge of each of the six state courts serves as a member.

An Act To Amend Title 10 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Delaware Supreme Court. [HB-113]
Since at least the 1980s, the Supreme Court has occasionally heard argument in locations other than Dover when time exigencies or special circumstances (such as the educational value of holding arguments at a law school) justified a departure from holding argument in Dover. An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Periodic Review Of Regulations Adopted By Executive Branch Agencies. [HB-147]
On June 14, 2012, Governor Jack Markell signed Executive Order No. 36 (“EO 36”) to help reduce impediments to economic growth and to improve the efficiency of state government. EO 36 requires each Executive Branch agency to periodically review the regulations on its books for possible modification or elimination. Following a robust public outreach period and in-depth reviews by each agency, the EO 36 resulted in the modification or elimination of more than 100 regulations. An Act To Amend Title 12 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Out-of-state Self Proved Wills. [HB-163]
This bill updates the Delaware Code with respect to self-proved wills that are executed in a foreign jurisdiction by providing that a will shall be treated as self-proved under Delaware law if such will was executed in a manner that it would be considered self-proved under the provisions of the Delaware Code or the statutory provisions governing self-proving wills in the jurisdiction where the will was executed.

An Act To Amend Titles 10 And 12 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Decedent's Estates And Fiduciary Relations. [HB-164]
Section 1 of the Act clarifies section 4915 of title 10. Current section 4915 expressly provides that IRAs described in Internal Revenue Code 408 and Roth IRAs described in Internal Revenue Code 408A are exempt from certain creditor claims. The Act clarifies that the section 4915 exemption for IRAs and Roth IRAs applies even if the IRA or Roth IRA was inherited by the owner.
