An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Powers And Duties Of The Department Of Health And Social Services. [SB-139]
To reduce lead poisoning in Delaware, this Act requires the Department to establish regulations for lead-based paint activities performed by renovators and dust-wipe technicians in; and provides administrative authority to seek criminal penalties for continuing violations and bring civil action to collect assessed penalties in the event of nonpayment.

An Act To Authorize And Approve The Transfer By The Town Of Kenton To Veterans Watchmaker Initiative Certain Real Property In The Town Of Kenton Described In Kent County Recorder Of Deeds Book F, Volume 30, Page 178 [SB-153]
This bill authorizes the Town of Kenton to transfer a parcel of land, previously transferred to the Town by the State, to the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative which aids veterans. If the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative does not use the property for its original purposes, the property will revert to the State.

An Act To Amend Title 12 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Fiduciary Relations [SB-156]
Section 1 of the Act is intended to (i) clarify existing law regarding the ability of a trustor to provide by the terms of a governing instrument that an adviser (including a protector) is not a fiduciary; and (ii) clarify that the provisions of Section 3303 of Title 12 take precedence over the Section 3316 default rule. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Child Protection Registry [SB-181]
This bill makes several changes to the Child Protection Registry. First, it provides the requirement for a hearing for every child prior to placement on the registry and requires the appointment of counsel. The bill reorganizes the Court findings required for placement on the registry by creating a new Section, 925A. An Act To Amend Title 19 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Persons With Disabilities Employment Protections Act. [SB-185]
Delaware employment discrimination law applies to employers of 4 or more employees within the State for all protected classes (race; marital status; genetic information; color; age; religion; sex; sexual orientation; gender identity; national origin) apart from disability. Only larger employers with 15 or more employees are subject to the State disability-based employment discrimination law.
