An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Delaware Police Accreditation Commission. [SB-124]
This bill appoints the Secretary of the Department of Safety and Homeland Security as Chair of the DPAC and removes the President Pro Tem and the Speaker of the House from the Commission. This bill also makes technical corrections in conformance with the Legislative Drafting Manual and clarifies that members may appoint a designee to serve in their place and at their pleasure.

An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Delaware Native Species Commission. [SB-153]
This Act creates the Delaware Native Species Commission ("Commission"), which is one of the recommendations of the Statewide Ecological Extinction Task Force, created by Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 20 of the 149th General Assembly. The Commission will terminate 10 years from enactment unless extended by the General Assembly.

An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Requiring That Each School Year Begin After Labor Day. [SB-18]
This Act requires public schools to begin their school year after Labor Day. There have been many economic impact reports done that show a positive impact from starting public schools after Labor Day. A report by the Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association estimates that $369 million would be lost if schools were not required to start after Labor Day. This includes $104 million in wages and $21 million in state and local taxes. Maryland is considering similar legislation. An Act To Amend Title 7 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Stormwater Management. [SB-204]
Section 1 through 4 of this Act establish interim standards and criteria in order to permit redevelopment projects to move forward while revised regulations are being drafted. The interim standards set forth in this Act would effectively "sunset" upon the adoption of regulations governing redevelopment. The redevelopment regulations, upon formal adoption, would supersede the provisions of the Bill.
