An Act Proposing An Amendment To The Delaware Constitution Relating To A Vacancy In The Office Of Lieutenant Governor. [SB-225]
This is the 1st Leg of a Constitutional Amendment to hold a special election when there is a vacancy in the office of the Lieutenant Governor. It is modeled after the special election for the Legislative seats. As is the case with the Legislative special elections, the details of the special election process will be placed in Title 15 of the Delaware Code when the 2nd Leg of the Constitutional Amendment is passed by the following General Assembly and the Amendment becomes part of the Delaware Constitution.

An Act To Amend Title 10 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Juvenile Expungements. [SB-233]
The continued existence and dissemination of juvenile criminal histories hampers an individual’s ability to be successful and productive member of society. These criminal histories are a hindrance to employment, education, housing and credit. It is often difficult for indigent children, especially those children in foster care, to overcome the hurdles required to obtain an expungement. An Act To Amend Titles 10, 11, 13, 16, 21, 23, And 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Office Of The Chief Medical Examiner And The Division Of Forensic Science. [SB-241]
This Act reorganizes the provision of many forensic sciences into a new Division of Forensic Science organized within the Department of Safety and Homeland Security. The proposed new Division of Forensic Science would consist of the operations previously organized in the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner within the Department of Health and Social Services. Section 1 of the Act reorganizes the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner as the Division of Forensic Science. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Emergency Medication In Schools. [SB-246]
This Act would bring best practices to Delaware schools with respect to prevention of serious injury or death from anaphylactic reactions caused by an allergy or life-threatening crisis due to asthma. Delaware schools shall have Emergency Medications available for administration by the School Nurse or Trained Person to individuals showing symptoms of a life-threatening allergic or asthmatic reaction.

An Act To Amend Titles 7, 11, And 23 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Environmental Violations. [SB-258]
This legislation declassifies a number of minor violations associated with wildlife, hunting, fishing and boating by changing them from Class C and Class D environmental misdemeanors to environmental violations. These environmental violations will not be reported on criminal history records kept by The Delaware Criminal Justice Information System (DELJIS); however DNREC is authorized to retain records on environmental violations to ensure that second offenses and higher penalties are pursued when appropriate.
