An Act To Amend Title 29 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Prevailing Wage Requirements. [HB-145]
This Bill corrects inconsistencies with respect to including the type of construction as a qualifier for a particular trade’s prevailing wage rate, and provides for a method to establish wage rates at the end of any five year term. It also provides that if the rate is not determined to be the collective bargaining rate, then the rate determined by the annual survey shall be the rate for a five year period, subject to raises tied directly into the prior year’s pay raise for State employees. An Act To Amend Title 13 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Domestic Violence [HB-146]
This bill allows, but does not require, the Domestic Violence Fatal Incident Review Team (FIRT) to review near deaths resulting from domestic violence. This bill does not otherwise modify the existing procedures for FIRT reviews and investigations of deaths resulting from domestic violence.

An Act To Amend Title 6 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Disclosure For Workforce Housing In New Castle County. [HB-173]
This bill requires that buyers of homes in a residential subdivision containing 2 or more units of workforce housing must be given written disclosure regarding the impact of workforce housing upon purchasers of workforce housing, as well as upon purchasers of non-workforce housing. The disclosure must include, but is not limited to, density issues, quality of construction, fixtures, and other amenities, maintenance fees, and impact on roadways and schools. This bill increases the minimum fine for the first offense of Graffiti from “$500” to “$1000” and increases the hours of community service from “200” to “250”.
