A number of states give local businesses some sort of preference when they contract for goods and services. Preferences may be “all other things being equal” it goes to the local business or some percentage by which the local business’ bid may be higher than an out-of-state business’s bid. This Act simply says that whatever another state does to Delaware businesses, Delaware may do to businesses from that State.

An Act To Amend Title 26 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Net Energy Metering. [SB-267]
This bill will further strengthen net energy metering provisions by providing customers the opportunity to aggregate individual meters for the purpose of allocating net metering credits to electricity accounts other than the account that hosts an energy generating facility. An Act To Amend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Health Care Practices. [SB-275]
The Bill will authorize and require the Delaware Board of Medical Practice, the agency that oversees physician licensure, to require doctors applying for licensure or relicensure to present service letters from health care facilities through which they have had direct access to patients, or admitting or staff privileges, attesting to their good character. An Act To Amend Title 12 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Trusts. [SB-282]
Many wills and trusts contain formula clauses allocating shares of a decedent’s estate or trust estate based on Internal Revenue Code provisions relating to federal estate tax exemptions and generation-skipping transfer tax exemptions. The federal estate tax and generation-skipping transfer tax are repealed for calendar year 2010 but, under current law, will be reinstated in calendar year 2011.
