An Act To Authorize And Approve The Transfer By The Colonial School District To The Delaware City Fire Company Of Certain Real Property Including The Building Located On South Dupont Parkway Known As The Commodore Macdonough Property. [HB-282]
This Bill allows the Colonial School District to convey the Commodore MacDonough Property to the Delaware City Fire Company. The Commodore MacDonough Property is not needed for school purposes, and the conveyance will allow the Commodore MacDonough Property to be used for purposes beneficial to residents of the Towns of Delaware City and St. Georges.

An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Sexual Relations In A Detention Facility. [HB-284]
In the spirit of the federal Prison Rape Elimination Act, this bill addresses and eliminates an unintended chilling effect on the reporting of sexual assaults and other sexual offenses which may occur at the State’s detention facilities. The current statute criminalizes conduct for both the victim and perpetrator, likely causing such crimes to be underreported out of fear of criminal prosecution. An Act To Amend Title 12 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Decedents' Estates. [HB-296]
This bill amends section 2306 of Delaware’s probate code as it relates to distribution of the decedent’s personal estate without the grant of letters by the Register of Wills when the decedent’s personal estate is valued at less than $30,000 (“the small estate affidavit”). An Act To Amend Title 11 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Specific Offenses. [HB-299]
Currently, if a person intentionally causes serious physical injury or physical injury to first responders such as a law enforcement officer or firefighter that person has committed the offense of assault in the first degree or assault in the second degree respectively. This bill includes emergency medical technicians, fire police, fire marshals and paramedics acting in the lawful performance of duty to the group of first responders listed as special victims for assault in the first degree and assault in the second degree.

An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Powers, Duties And Functions Of The Secretary Of Education. [HB-30]
