An Act To Amend Title 24 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Regulatory Review Of Boards And Commissions. [SB-131]
This Act requires that a board or commission created after the effective date of this Act submit the initial adopted rules and regulations pertaining to the licensure, maintenance, and standards of the board or commission to the Joint Legislative Oversight and Sunset Committee, shall review the rules and regulations and make recommendations in accordance with § 10212 of Title 29.

An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Requiring That Each School Year Begin After Labor Day. [SB-18]
This Act requires public schools to begin their school year after Labor Day. There have been many economic impact reports done that show a positive impact from starting public schools after Labor Day. A report by the Virginia Hospitality and Travel Association estimates that $369 million would be lost if schools were not required to start after Labor Day. This includes $104 million in wages and $21 million in state and local taxes. Maryland is considering similar legislation. An Act To Amend Title 16 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Possession Of Marijuana, Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia And Expungement. [SB-197]
This Act provides mandatory expungement eligibility to individuals who were convicted of the possession, use or consumption of marijuana prior to Delawares decriminalization of these offenses. An Act Concurring In A Proposed Amendment To Article Iv Of The Delaware Constitution Relating To The Appointment Of Judges. [SB-25]
This Act is the second leg of a Constitutional amendment to lengthen the time period during which the Governor must appoint a judicial officer following the occurrence of a vacancy, thereby giving the Governor and State Senate more flexibility in the consideration of vacancies occurring when the State Senate is not in session while preserving the Delaware tradition of quickly filling judicial vacancies.
