An Act To Amend Title 30 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Personal Income Tax. [HB-97]
This Bill excludes from income taxes pensions received from the United States, including military retirement income, up to a maximum of $37,500.00 less any Social Security benefits paid by the United States in the taxable year. It is intended to equalize the treatment of Federal retirees who are not covered or are partially covered by the Social Security System with those retirees receiving Social Security benefits which are presently exempt from tax.

Markell To Report On What Future Obligations Accepting Such Funds Will Place On The State And Appropriating The Recovery Act Funds Via Amendments On The State's Operating And Capital Budget Bills. This resolution is intended to increase the transparency and accountability of the funding being received by the State of Delaware via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). It seeks to require the administration of Governor Jack A. Markell to create a report detailing what, if any, future spending obligations would be created by accepting the Recovery Act money.
