An Act To Amend Titles 30, 12, And 3 Of The Delaware Code Relating To The Delaware Estate Tax. [HB-492]
Many Delaware domiciliaries own homes in other states that have no estate tax. The Delaware estate tax law could have the unintended effect of causing these Delaware domiciliaries, who currently pay Delaware income tax, to change their state of domicile to another state to avoid the Delaware estate tax, thereby reducing the amount of income tax collected by the State. For this reason, the bill’s provisions will return as they were immediately prior to the date when the present statute was enacted.

An Act To Amend Title 7 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Protected Wildlife. [HB-67]
This act increases the penalties for illegally hunting wild turkeys. Delaware began its Wild Turkey Restoration project in 1984 with the release of 34 trapped birds from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Vermont. To enhance genetic diversity and speed up the stocking of birds in all available habit, additional wild turkeys were acquired from other states, at a cost of approximately $500.00 per bird. Although the cost to purchase and import wild turkeys is very expensive, the penalties levied on individuals who illegally hunt these birds are minimal. (continued...)

An Act To Amend Title 18 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Small Employer Health Insurance. [HB-85]
This bill implements recommendations of the Delaware Health Care Commission and its Small Business Health Insurance Committee to reform rating rules for small employer group health insurance.
